My Sick Kaiden

No ear infection. No strep throat. Lungs were clear. Flu test? Last Thursday night, Kaiden's temperature spiked to 101.3 deg F. We went ahead and saw his doctor first thing the following morning. The doctor checked him thoroughly- eyes, ears, nose, throat, breathing, etc. Now, for the swine flu test. The nurse had to quickly insert a cotton bud into his nose, which irritated him understandably. We had to wait for 15 minutes inside the room. Fifteen minutes seemed pretty long for my 2 boys. I had to keep them entertained while waiting for the result. One of the nurses, who's been fond of the boys eversince they were born, gave them a big bag of suckers or lollipops. Somehow that kept them entertained eventhough it meant going to see the dentist sooner for the boys. So...15 minutes had gone by and the flu test came back...negative! haaaay! A sigh of relief for me. I'm glad he didn't get infected with that swine flu. However, the doctor reminded me that flu tests are not always accurate. That means watching out for his temperature every now and then, and calling him immediately if it spikes up again to 101 deg or more. As of now, he's recovering well. No more fevers. Just the pesky cough and cold.

I'm sorry to hear about Kaiden getting sick, but at least he's not infected with the swine flu. How is he now? I hope he's back to being active and healthy! Musta naman ang kuya Noah niya? I hope di siya nahawaan ni Kaiden.

Lots of hugs and kisses to your handsome little boys! And ingat ka lagi Mommy Sheila!!

I hope that Kaiden is feeling better now. It is very hard when your child is sick.

By the way sis, I am trying to generate some support for our daughter. I entered her into a Smile Contest, so if you could please vote for her (just once), the contest runs until October 31st. Your vote would be so much appreciated.

To cast your vote, please go to this link. Please look for Jillian Rylie Cottrill. Thank you very much for your help!

Hello beautiful Mommy! I hope Kaiden is all well now, and so is Noah! It's getting colder everyday so panahon na naman ng flu.

Thank you soooooo much nga pala sa last comment mo, I was sooooooo deeply touched! Grabe yung baha sa Pangasinan, almost 90% of our province was heavily flooded. We're lucky to be part of the 10% that wasn't affected. Nasa Poblacion sa Manaoag kasi ang family ko. We're very grateful to God kasi hindi kami affected although our hearts go to our kababayan na sobrang naapektuhan ng baha.

Thank you so much din for your conern, warm thoughts and prayers for me about my pregnancy and my upcoming delivery of Dylan...Actually, it was already scheduled, kasi nga c-section na naman...We're not announcing it yet kasi meron kaming stalker, hehe. But I will PM you sa Facebook and let you know the exact date. I have alot of discomfort lately, i'm already 35 weeks, that's why, ang laki ko na....but... sobrang excited na rin kami, can't wait to finally hold our baby in our arms.

Hope everything is well with you and our family. I may not visit you here everyday, but please know that you're constant in my thoughts! Pakiss nga sa mga cutie pie little boys mo! Ingat lagi my friend!!
